Manager/Head Coach - Marshall Dalziel #32
Marshall took over the legion program starting in the summer of 2021 after spending the last two summers as the Legion 2 Head Coach. Marshall is a Moorhead High School graduate where he played Football, JG Hockey and Baseball. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2016 where he was a 4 year member of the club baseball team on campus, he also ran the team for 2.5 years. Marshall started his high school coaching career at Mounds View High School in the spring of 2016 as the B Squad assistant coach. The spring of 2017 he was promoted to the 9th Grade Head Coach where he held the postition for 4 years. While at Mounds View he spent 2 summers as an assistant for the 14AAA and 15AAA in 2016 and 2017 for the youth program. In 2018 he was the Head Coach for the Minnetonka Jr. Legion 2 team. From 2016-2019 Marshall also coached various age groups and did lessons for Great Lakes Baseball Academy. Marshall is a Social Studies Teacher at Le Sueur-Henderson High/Middle School and lives in Carver witth his wife Sandra and two dogs Nook and Gibbs.

Assistant Coach - Brett Danielson #03
Brett joined the Wayzata baseball staff in 2019. He is from Moorhead, Minnesota where he played baseball and basketball. Brett attended North Dakota State University for college. During his time in college he coached various youth baseball and basketball teams in Moorhead. Brett joined Marshall's coaching staff in 2018 when Marshall was in Minnetonka and then came to Wayzata with Marshall for the summer of 2019.. He is a Manager at Securian Financial in St. Paul. Brett lives in Golden Valley with his wife Maria and daughter Elise.
Assistant Coach - Alan McCaulley #75
Alan joined the Wayzata program in the summer of 2019. He is from Fountain, MN where he played football, basketball and baseball at Kingsland High School. He the CHOSE D2 and attended Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, MN on a football scholarship. For the Mustangs he was the starting right tackle and in his senior year in 2015 he made all-conference while helping pave the way for the NSIC leading rusher, 1 spot a head of current MN Viking CJ Ham. In his two seasons as one of the assistants on Legion 2, Alan went 3-1 with 1 save as a Head Coach when filling in for Marshall. Alan works in sales at a software company called Epicor. Alan lives in Farmington, MN with his wife Bri, daughter Hadley and two dogs Bella and Lucy.

Head Coach - Tanner Swenson #15
Tanner played soccer, basketball, and baseball at Moorhead High and graduated in 2013. After a breakout senior season he attended Hamline University in Saint Paul, where he played baseball and studied biology. After graduation, Tanner received a job offer from Abbott Labs where he is still currently employed. He recently hung up the cleats after a couple summers playing amateur baseball in the Twin Cities. Tanner also still plays rec soccer and basketball in his free time.
